Marianna Santoni, was born in Foligno (Umbria, Italy) in 1978. She studied visual anthropology at the faculty of Letters and Philosophy in Perugia. This allowed her the opportunity to further her knowledge on Photography and Photoshop, much more on a cultural basis, rather then being simply a technical expert. Today, Santoni is a Professional Photographer, and owns the StudioVasta advertising agency. She is member of the prestigious Adobe Photographers Directory and the National Association for Professional Photographers TAU Visual.
Santoni publishes articles and advertising campaigns on many newspapers in Italy, Europe and U.S.

From 2009 Marianna is responsible for the digital imaging survey in the official web site of the famous Italian newspaper La Stampa.
Digital imaging Guru Being an Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) and an Adobe Certified Instructor (ACI) in Photoshop, she is listed in the official Adobe Partner Finder directory, as a Certified ASN Instructor. Santoni takes part in beta testing programs on products for Adobe and Nik Software.
In the professional graphic tablet area, she is a Wacom Evangelist and Italian testimonial in the official website. Recognized in Italy as a Guru for digital imaging, she regularly holds courses, seminars, presentations and congresses as a teacher in Photoshop, Lightroom and photography, collaborating directly with major digital imaging brands (Wacom, Canon, Nikon, Epson, HP...), and she takes part in the most important events on digital imaging (Photoshow, Grafitalia, Smau, Adobe Live!, Arrivano i Guru, Click Create & Print, Digital Symposium, Orvieto Fotografia, Hasselblad World Tour... ).
As a speaker she worked side by side in official events in Italy with digital imaging living legends such as Dan Margulis, Katrin Eismannand Martin Evening, respectively Photoshop All af Fame 2001, 2005 and 2008.
What makes Marianna particularly appreciated is her passionate and enjoyable approach to teaching: her motto is "Non c'è niente di così difficile che non possa essere spiegato in modo semplice" - "There is nothing that difficult that cannot be explained in a simple way". The tireless will of discovery drives her to constantly pursue new and innovative photography techniques and methodologies. This is made possible by a continuous research, both from personal and brand collaboration.
Santoni is also a professional consultant for advertising agencies in the digital imaging area, starting from the shoot, proceeding to post-production, ending to image storage.
